Firearms prohibitions

To be honest - what does it matter? Trudeau will lie continually and impress his followers. We have seen it in the UK, here in NZ and Australia and now Canada. His method are straight from the Marxist play-book - it is the same script that our awful PM uses.
He will call shooters "white supremacists". He will blame shooters for selling AR15's to criminals, while seemingly supporting working class crime and indigenous rights. He will say that the AR15 is only good for killing people, because that was what it was designed for. Next will be pistol carbines, anything over 8mm, ( as it is not necessary!) and worst of all - the " looks like" rules - "it looks like an AR-15" yes - Western Australia has an "appearance" rule, so forget yer chassis rifle. And watch out for your "sniper rifle".

Our proposed legislation also includes the prohibition of anything that "looks exactly like a real firearm", this includes airsoft guns, pellet guns etc.

They are trying to eliminate all gun culture, including not raising children shooting pellet guns etc.
Just a short time back a proposition was made to make it a felony to teach children to shoot a gun.

How about those “shoot’em up” video games?
I was watching an old Western on Grit TV. Cowboys shooting Indians. Cavalry soldiers pushing renegades back to the Reservation. Good guys saving the helpless damsel in distress.
They’ll be next.
They certainly will. This past week I saw an 'uprising' where people are calling for the movie Grease to be, I don't know what, deleted?? Because it has a bad sexist message.

Sigh.

Yes, that's exactly what is happening here.
Many of the prohibitions are based on looks alone, if it looks scary it's gone, .22 conversion kits included. There's also a prohibition based on bore size and muzzle energy, so the ELR world in Canada is now dead.

Last week he dropped the words 'sniper' for the first time that I've heard, immediately I saw that as foreshadowing.

F...em...shall not comply. Who cares anymore? Really, who cares? It’s not tough talk it’s the truth. AND it’s so simple to do.

If people (especially our legislators) would just look at the data, like what the FBI has as a matter of public record. A couple years back I check out the FBI records looking weapons used in homicides and found the guns are the largest/majority involved. But . . . when you look as the types of guns involved in homicides, handguns are a huge amount (and includes suicides) and rifles (all rifles) are a very small portion. In fact, it showed that fewer rifles were used in homicide deaths than knives. Knives killed more people than rifles, so maybe we should have strict laws for the purchase of knives before anyone goes to any restrictions on rifles??? LOL :p
Well, like um maybe we should outlaw murder, ya know, cause that will stop it....

The United States stands alone among Republics in that we have a Constitution that limits the actions that Government can inflict upon the citizens.

In Parliamentary governments, the law of the land is what a majority of given politicians can agree upon at any given moment.

Our Founders saw fit to give us a Constitution that has stood the test of time. They made it very difficult to amend so that it would not perish under the whims of the moment or the rankings of the mob.

It DOES NOT matter what the data shows. People who want to ban guns use "crime" as a convenient excuse. It is a good tool to get YOU spun up and arguing about how ineffective gun bans are as a crime fighting strategy.

THEY DO NOT care about crime and crime rates.

THEY WANT YOU disarmed.

If you are disarmed, you are subject to those who possess arms. That is their ONLY goal.

In the infamous words of Saul Alinsky

“They have the guns and therefore we are for peace and for reformation through the ballot. When we have the guns then it will be through the bullet.”

^ current democratic party looks to this guy as the second coming of Christ...keep your guns. Shall not comply.

In less than 3 weeks sadly my prediction came true. Two mass shooting s within the past few days. We an expect the dems to hit the gun grabbing bandwagon hard.
I was thinking last night, Why Boulder?

Turns out Boulder had an "Assault Weapons" ban which was ruled invalid by a judge. It was ruled that only a state or federal ban would be valid because CO state law preempts local law.

So this Boulder shooting provides the perfect illustration to support the Assault Weapons Ban of 2021"

Read about the 2021 ban by visiting Feinstein's web page.

So, lets say "assault weapons" are banned. Nut cases then use semi auto pistols, then those are the next firearm to be demonized and banned. Then the switch to pump shotguns and revolvers, so those have to go.....and on and on. See why we, as citizens, need to resist this gutting of the 2nd amendment?

After firearms, then its the first amendment, which is already under assault with political correctness and now the "woke" movement. God help us!!
