Just went and searched and it was a ruger 556 pistol with a pustol brace on it which is why they are confused as to why it was a small ar rifle
I’m so sorry, that’s tuff!Haven’t read all posts.
I am Australian and a shooter, 1996 was the year when our Federal Government confiscated our FIRST banned guns; this included semi auto .22’s, like the Ruger 10/22, semi auto and pump action shotguns (unless you were a primary producer or required it for employment), ALL semi auto CF rifles were banned, including those like the BAR with it’s 3-5 round capacity.
Lever actions were left untouched, but as of now, due to the new spate of high capacity lever/pump rifles coming out, they want to limit magazine capacity. My Rossi 44 holds 10 rounds, have just been informed they wish to restrict this to a max of 5. Modification is my responsibility if it gets through Parliament. Totally ridiculous.
Then there was 2006 confiscation of handguns. Anything larger than .38 had to be handed in, then if you qualified to have a gun larger than .38 you could apply for it back. IPSC comp was supposed to allow you to keep your .45’s, alas it did not.
I lost all my .45 autos in that one, kept my .38 Super for a short time, then they changed everything again, so gave it up.
If this is what’s happening elsewhere, then it is the UN pushing their agenda to disarm the population.
The UK, Japan, Australia and several EU countries have already signed this agenda, confiscation is coming. Twice I have given in, a third time is NOT happening, just like this COVID vaccination they’re pushing us to have. I’m not having it, and they won’t force me to have it even if the military show up like they have in our Aboriginal communities.
Cheers.
How about they just stand up and say "No."?Idaho had a Senate Bill 1332 signed into law that will:
“Protect Idaho law enforcement officers from being directed, through federal executive orders, agency orders, statutes, laws, rules, or regulations enacted or promulgated on or after the effective date of this act, to violate their oath of office and Idaho citizens’ rights under Section 11, Article I, of the Constitution of the State of Idaho.”
