guns in the grocery store

In my area when the Indians buy a gas station or carry out they take the American Flag down and remove the flag pole.

Not too long ago, I would take my guns into the post office and have them weighed. This was a small "small town" post office, and she was ok with it. I doubt it would go well at a bigger post ofice.

I used to use the local Fed X shipping hub. The employees loved it.
The lady at the counter would go get the guys in the back to come look see.
Especially with the 32 lbs 50.

there are signs all over the PO about it being a federal crime to bring a firearm into a PO...

Sikhs carry swords as part of their culture. Under all that finery, the guys are armed to the teeth.
125 years ago, in the Khyber pass, 21 Sikhs were manning a signal post on a mountain between two forts.

12,000+ Pashtun tribesmen attacked the signal post to cut off communication between the forts. The Sikhs held out for most of the day. When the British troops arrived to relieve the two forts, and returned to the signal post, there were 1400 Pashtun corpses around the small post.

21:1400 Armed to the teeth is an understatement.

Great story.

If you don't want to go through the trouble of leaving home, and you have a digital bathroom scale, hop on the scale with gun in hand. Now hop on without the gun and subtract the difference. My scale reads to one decimal point. It gets you within an ounce or two.
I wouldn't trust any of mine, both are not repeatable, don't agree with one another......nor with the doctors scale. There is always at least a +3# difference with the doctors scale which always reads heavier.

All my scales at home and the doctors office always read heavy when I get on them.Like 4 or 5 LBS.
