Sikhs carry swords as part of their culture. Under all that finery, the guys are armed to the teeth. This was very funny, good to no what the Indians think of us and our firearms.
Yes, been there, That’s like it should be.When I was in Las Vegas they had an open bar at the Gun Shows. People walking around drinking looking at the guns.
Not too long ago, I would take my guns into the post office and have them weighed. This was a small "small town" post office, and she was ok with it. I doubt it would go well at a bigger post ofice.
I miss Al.FWIW -Old post. Clued by the fact Alinwa doesn't post anymore.
125 years ago, in the Khyber pass, 21 Sikhs were manning a signal post on a mountain between two forts.Sikhs carry swords as part of their culture. Under all that finery, the guys are armed to the teeth.
I wouldn't trust any of mine, both are not repeatable, don't agree with one another......nor with the doctors scale. There is always at least a +3# difference with the doctors scale which always reads heavier.Great story.
If you don't want to go through the trouble of leaving home, and you have a digital bathroom scale, hop on the scale with gun in hand. Now hop on without the gun and subtract the difference. My scale reads to one decimal point. It gets you within an ounce or two.
Which one would not expect from a guy who poured concrete for a living.I miss Al.
He brought a lot of good information to the table, and had a way with words like no other.
All my scales at home and the doctors office always read heavy when I get on them.Like 4 or 5 LBS.I wouldn't trust any of mine, both are not repeatable, don't agree with one another......nor with the doctors scale. There is always at least a +3# difference with the doctors scale which always reads heavier.
