Information on RCBS Model 90 Scale

I inherited 3 reloading scale recently. One is a RCBS (Ohaus) Model 90 Electronic Scale that appears to have been hardly used. I can't find much information about this scale. The receipt for this scale is dated 1990 and for a tidy sum of $310.50. It's accurate with test weights.

Is this scale worthwhile keeping and using?

What is Option RS232 as shown on the back?

I would keep it and use it because it's an Ohaus built scale made in USA. I have no idea of the accuracy or resolution(if it will weigh a single kernel of powder).

RS232 is the still current serial computer interface standard. Usually 9-pin IIRC. You connected your computer via RS232 cable to a modem and dialed in to Compuserve (or USENET) long before the Internet. This was probably an extra-cost option to connect the scale to a computer for data capture.
