Tracking History​


Checked this morning (1-23) and it's BACK in St. Paul. (AGAIN)
My only question is: Do I get frequent Flyer Miles??

Had a package that made it all across the country in 2 days, then sat in the Reno, NV site for 8 days before it made it onto my town, 85 miles away. Go figure.
 
LOL, yeah. Funny thing is I spent 6mos on Guam in 1980 and was billeted at the Barrigada Transmitter site since there were no quarters available at Anderson AFB for the team I was with. Last place package was handled before arriving in WA - Barrigada. Amazing.
 
I can beat that.
Ordered a rail for a Panda from Kelbly's shipped to the UK. Picked up and arrived in Chicago, but for some reason then went west instead of east, ended up in Tokyo, then continued west to London Heathrow. I was thinking a few days to clear customs, but for some reason it made it onto a flight to Sydney Australia, must have wanted some sun, and it's been there since the 19th, so now five weeks since it left Ohio. I wonder where it's off to next or whether it will remain down under. Of course not necessarily UPSPS fault once it's out of their hands.
 
I sold a Pardini air pistol couple weeks back. Shipped it USPS Priority Mail, supposed to be in Texas on 1/20/21 it's last known location was only 35 miles from me. I stopped by my local PO yesterday gave the lady the tracking number to see what she could find, she sits down at her computer and the first words she muttered " Oh that's not good" and to top it off the guy who purchased it was a little skeptical from the get go, "That's a lot of money to send to someone I don't know". Damn, I've been in communication with him and he has the tracking number also, but I'm sure he's thinking man I'm gettin hosed on this deal.

I can beat all those. My local PO didn't SCAN THEM IN... $1600 worth of my product... JUST FLOATING IN SPACE, and I can't track it because they did not scan it. I can't file a missing package, because they didn't scan it. It simply appears as though I never shipped it... Three packages. $1600.

I always have the retail counter scan them in. I politely ask them to and get the receipt.

I had an Ebay sale that shipped First Class, 14oz; they billed me an additional +$7 for Priority, 2# 10oz three weeks later because that's what their scan told them it weighed.

My receipt clearly showed a scan in for 14oz, they had to drop their claim.
 
Back in November, I mailed a Large Flat Rate box from Washington to Wyoming. Initiated a tracer after 7 days, 4 weeks later the postmaster in Wyoming finally located it and finally got delivered 5 weeks after initial shipment. To this day, I still get mail from the USPS apologizing that they can't locate it.......go figure
 
Tracking shows it's in St. Paul this morning so, maybe it'll be delivered by the 4th. of July?? It could happen.

I've had a package that DIDN'T get scanned. As far as they knew, it never existed and if it ever did exist, it's out there in never never land.

Talked to one Gal that worked for the Post Office and she mentioned something about "her company"? All I could do was roll my eyes and keep my mouth shut.

USPS is still dealing with (many) individuals and private contractors who witnessed and swore out affidavits about USPS employees, some involve transportation hubs. I will have 2 packages headed my way soon, hoping for the best.
 
I sent a BBL to I'll and the guy in I'll sent me a check by certified registered mail.....tracking shows his check stuck at a hub as well as the BBL that I sent also in a hub going on 3 weeks.....
 
I sent my son a Card for Christmas. He got it yesterday. I sent a Bill out the same day. They cashed the check in two days.. The Card went from NJ to Kansas. The Bill to California.The USPS is negligent and run like the Government.. Wasteful and useless.
 
And just to think, there are those that think the government should be in control of every aspect of your life, really?
 
Priority small Box Ohio to Oregon !!
Ohio by way of Houston sat in Houston 10 days ? Tracking state on Schedule for Delivery ?
Received Box 16 days after ship date ! Box looked as if it was run over .

Went to Post Office asked what is with priority in 16 days ? The Postal worker pointed to Sign on the Wall , It no longer states 3day priority ? I said then what does it stand for ? Reply Better Chance it will get there >
