That's my concern also. If something goes bad, even if your rounds aren't the problem their insurance company is going to make you prove it.Look into the liability risk before you leap into that endeavor.

During the bad riots in 2020, I had liberal friends ask me to lend them firearms. "Absolutely not" was the answer. I explained the process for buying their own, with background checks (and, being in CA, ammo background checks too). They were not happy.
