Left side vs right side

I think that it is fair to say that most of the short range crowd use actions with ports that face them combined with bolts on the opposite side. As far as safety goes, the main issue is wearing safety glasses when shooting. I am always amazed by the number of shooters who do not do this. They complain about not being able to see as well through a pair of six dollar shooting glasses while shooting their six thousand dollar rifle.

The main headaches when running a firing line are getting people to properly clear and stay away from guns during cease fires, and wear their eye protection the whole time that the line is hot, whether they are shooting or not. The experience tends to make one loose faith in the intelligence of humanity.

Eye dominance only effects if you shoot both eyes wide open. Squent which ever you choose and it becomes motion detection only ..... My opinion ...

I use a blinder made out of neoprene (wetsuit material) that slips over the scope. Squinting leads to all kind of weird vision problems. Ideally, the blinder should be opaque white (or neutral) rather than black, but I'm working with what I've got.
