In years past it was a very active forum. More recently the original creator of the site was stepped away. His brother continues to sporadically administer the website but in general saubier.com is on life support. I think some members there are volunteering time with site admin.

When I joined 4 years ago I had the same problem, It took several tried and emails to administrators to get it activated... I do enjoy the forum tho..

Damn, I just checked when I registered, can't believe it was in 2006. Lots of good folks and information there, rarely any bullshit or drama.

It's not like it used to be but what is? Ah, the good old days; I do miss the coyotegods and John-Henry too, surely was informative and entertaining there.
