With the 60 power lens on my Vortex spotting scope, I can see the 4 moons of Jupiter and the rings of Saturn.

yep looked at it with my 20 some-odd y.o. leupold spotting scope--amazing what i could see---kids were impressed

My neighbors are wonderful 86 and 84 year old couple--called husband up to tell him to go look. Without hesitation he told me he saw it last time...got a good laugh...he is always pranking

Truly an awesome sight! I could see the rings of Saturn through my spotting scope as well as 4 of Jupiter's moons. Best celestial event I've seen since comet Hale Bopp.

The phone had a hard time focusing on the planets but the moon turned out really cool through the Leupold spotter. one at 20 power and the other at 60.

What if what they saw was a star collision or something like that even brighter? There would be no way of knowing- no record

Cloudy here last night but saw it at 5 AM. Checked it at 5:30 PM tonight and the two planets are getting a ways apart.

had a great view last night for about 30 min before it dived below horizon......saw all 4 moons thru mu Kowa 77tsnx25 scope.... school scope but great none the less, looked again tonight and it was actually a bit more impressive--we wre 500 millon mles away from saturn and jupiter is roughly 450 millon beyond that..,
that a billion miles of viewing!!! (beyond my comprehension). what'ya think the martains are thinking as they look back at out humble planet???
Who can deny an creationan/an overwatch greater thnan mankind as we know it?

I looked through my spotting scope tonight could clearly see Saturn rings. To what we own the creator! Makes me wonder.... I have been around mining for 20 years, coal and zinc. The more I understand the more amazing it is. The past world, what we find, what has happened. Looking at the planets makes me think the same thing. What do we know, what do we not know. Something different everyday to learn and understand. Our creator knows all.
