Are you pulling bullets from loaded .22's or can you buy primed cases? The brass is already primed. Single use. So far, Titewad, clays, longshot and lil gun have been tested

I’m just loading, not reloading. I might be crazy, but not that crazy!
Why not just try the 5mm Remington?
Reason I don’t is because it would meet 22lr competition rulesWhy not just try the 5mm Remington?
Prs22 and nrl22 currently do not have rules against this ammo. Neither does ELR22. What would lawyers have to do with allowing hand loaded ammo? Just about every shooting completion besides 22lr has a large number of hand loaded ammo and hasn’t caused a problem...Looks like a .22 cal copy of the LAPUA D46 .30 cal bullet
Gotta say that it is an interesting project. Gotta ask what .22 rf competition rules allow for pulled\reloaded ammo? I have to think most would balk at allowing them for no other reason than their lawyers.
Man I need something just like this. Been considering a .22 hornet contender barrel, to load 80gr .224s, but didnt know what powder would get me down to subsonic range. This is cool! Makes me think of the 22 Squirrel (a 22 Hornet chopped down to 1", I believe), which I briefly considered.View attachment 1208563
Ripped this picture from a quick Google search. It does not belong to me but I also didn't find any copyrights or claims of ownership.
Pretty sure there isn’t a bullet out there with this same design. Unless you’re talking about a heeled bullet. In that case, those bullets are generally a rebates boattail design. Pretty sure Tubb has a rbt on his bullets
