Hey Guys,
I'm tossing around the idea of trying out a Trijicon Tenmile 5-50x scope for F-Class and general plinking on a built up 700.
It looks to have all the features I want (ED glass, decent looking reticle, turrets look ok from the pics), with the only downside really being that it's a boat-anchor weight wise
That said, I've consolidated all of my match guns to NF Comps, and most everything I look through relative to that scope looks pretty mediocre from both an image sharpness and clarity perspective (at least to my eyes; I know everybody is different).
That got me to wondering, have any of you compared the Tenmile to an NF Comp side by side? If so, how does the image quality compare? I like the lower end zoom range of the Trijicon; I think it'd allow me to have a more versatile rifle, yet you could still to drag it out to a match every once in a while.
I'm admittedly a little leery of even dropping the money on one; target optics aren't exactly Trijicon's forte. I know Sightron offers a very similar SVSSED scope...but the 5x on the low end from Sightron is appealing, and they seem to be the only game in town.
