Tuesday evening I tried the Mike Bryant Remington 700 TITANIUM 6 mm BRX with new brass. Mike did some accuracy work on the action last spring. He also installed a external bolt stop and fitted a used barrel to the action. A Ryan Pierce Titanium brake was fitted to the barrel. It was the first firing of the brass that was hydralic formed by DJ's Brass Service. Darrell Jones uses hydralic pressure to form the BRX brass from standard Lapua BR brass.
The scope was zeroed from the last session. I took my first three shots from a cold, fouled barrel at 600 yards. -- 1.25 inch.
I went to a second plate and next three went 1.5 inch.
Next I dialed up to 800 and fired 3 more rounds -- 2.0 inch.
