That’s odd since Hornady states that their 75-grain ELD bullet requires a 1:8” twist or tighter to stabilize out of a full length .223....

If you want real data I used to shoot 40gr B-tips with RL7. Next time I am in the shop I can find that load. Shot very well in my other 221fb
Small capacity cartridges shooting heavy-for-caliber bullets are fun. The .221AI sounds like a great cartridge. I owned a 7.63 Mini-Whisper (.30 Mauser-based) for a time using 168-grain Sierras, but it really did nothing my .300 Whisper couldn’t do so it went to a new home.
