I learned tonight while watching the election that a good friend and a frequent sage at my gun shop passed away tonight of a massive heart attack. He was at the shop this morning, bought his usual Cheerwine soda. Invoked knowledge upon all that were there and left to pick up lunch at the Cafe and it's the last I saw him. At least I said "See you buddy" as he left. The man knew more about hunting and making white liquor than anyone I ever met. Gonna miss him. Left out names, but if you could give a little prayer for one of the last of the people left that can share those type of experiences, I would appreciate it. Gonna miss his matter of fact life lessons and his knowledge of hunting - both out west and here in the south. God Speed Shorty!
