A new rifle for a good young man

We'll cover it in a biz like manner Alan. No hill for a climber.

Now, abt that rifle....

(This was lost/left from a post y'day....). Too much going on I guess.

That rifle ?

I heard you the first time------that sweet baby has a good home here.

We can go the range next time you're down this way----I'll load
and you can shoot but you can't take her with you.

This is a really positive thread to read. I've been leaving a lot of gun-related social media as people tear fellow shooters down or exhibit other negative behavior vs fostering a positive and informative community. This is really a breath of fresh air. Going to check some stuff and see how much I can donate.

Very kind of you Sir.

You guys are just going out of your way for a very good cause. We will take $5, $10, or whatever you feel will help and not put a strain on anybody. This has worked very well and a little bit more will put us over the top.
No stress, no strain.
Unless.....

Mama finds out!
Just kidding. She loves to help and give where she can.
Including pan handlers.

Well, you can see from the scores he is hampered by using a right handed rifle. Imagine working the bolt with the wrong hand during rapid fire strings.. I am not familiar with 3P shooting I assume the "R" means rapid fire..

I can not wait to see his scores with a left bolt..

Boomer which one of the guys are you? Glad you met John. I am glad he found shooting. Mike Smith let's him shoot outdoor with you all as well. He shot AK and M1 last year. He loves shooting anything

The above is CMP remfire. It's a standard 22 with or without a scope. Shot from 3 position in both slow and rapid fire. John used a standard Ruger American right handed bolt action. It was a Christmas present 2 years ago. What you gentlemen are helping him with is a Smallbore for precision shooting. See all colleges have gone to a International standing 60 then a 3 position small bore combo. To get a college to think about a scholarship you need both skills. John can shoot a right in remfire OK, but precision it doesn't let him get the scores he needs. The accuracy these kids perform at is incredible. It would be cool to see him shoot the gun you all are helping with in the Olympics. Does this forum have stickers he could use as a promotional thank you.
