Lapua brass quality control issues??

Ive had lapua offer to replace damaged 6br cases back in the split neck days. I didnt ever want 8 different brass mixed in my box so i never took em up on it. Now i have bags of 92, 96, etc.

It almost looks deliberate , but why would anyone sabotage a box of brass ? I don't blame you for venting, I would be upset too if my new brass looked like that .

This smells like someone is shipping who is less than gruntled. I have never seen ANY NIB brass that looked anywhere near that.

Finally heard from Midway this morning. They are also working to make things right. I still will be hesitant to order brass again due to subpar shipping.

The extra brass will probably be a different lot. Gives me an excuse to build a 6.5X 47 hunting rifle.

Important update. Already received response from Lapua. They are sending me replacements for the ones I feel are too bad to use. All companies should take note. No BS about being overwhelmed due to panic buying. Give us your address and they will be on the way!! Great save from Lapua. Your move midway!!!

I had that offer before too and it is a worthless one. Send them all back or none, if you are in to accuracy it will be two different lots and mixed together you are dead in the water..... BTW.. don't hold your breath on receiving cases from Lapua... I've been waiting for ten years.... jim

Midway has been doing a poor job of packing my orders. Last batch of brass was 7.62x25mm and most was slightly damaged. It was bagged loosely in a padded envelope which was torn but the internal bag kept any from falling out.

I will not order brass from Midway in the future.

Moving forward I suggest ordering from Blue Collar Reloading

So wheres the rest of the box so youll have a full box that matches?
He sent the 22 I felt were damaged the worst. I was able to salvage all but one of the bent ones. Lots of needle nose plier work. I will use those 22 in something. Maybe build a 6.5x47 hunting rifle for next year. I am satisfied with the result.

Glad to see it worked out in the end , you handled it with class.

Nedd I think Coco may be on to something. That 4th case that he/she made, it would be perfect for a bad wind condition. i think you could even rotate it 180% and use it when the wind comes for the other direction.
