.223 Lapua brass

Starline makes 223 and 556 brass (556 is a harder material) - It is EXCELLENT quality. H20 capacities are more consistent than lapua.

Be advised, starline has less case capacity, so work up your loads safely.

Not TR specifically but spicy loads in a PRS gun, as well as an AR-Tac rifle that I won a lot of matches with... It's good stuff.

Again, just be careful about case capacity. I have list/post here with some numbers you can use.

I've use the 5.56 Starline brass for my 600 yard FTR rifle with 80eldm bullets. I only have 6 relays under my belt, but all 6 where HM scores. I'm happy and will continue to use it.

Hornady does work good too but can’t find it. They aren’t selling it now as it’s all going to loaded ammo per Hornady. I had some on backorder from Jan 2021 and canceled it and bought the Starline.

Years ago, I used Starline pistol cases - excellent quality. Don't know about the rifle cases but let us know how they work.

It really is! I bought a bunch in 223 and 308 when cabelas had aisles full of it. It measured really well and lasted a long time. I haven't seen it since then (3-4 years ago) however.

Get you some LC brass and prep it fully and it will work just as well as Lapua.

I have only been reloading for about a year--223 bolt gun only--snagged some lapua brass right at the start but practiced on loading other stuff--well.....I have some PMC brass from cheapo AR style ammo--I have two loads that are one hole Amazing loads with it--I put that recipe in my Lapua brass and it is not as good--I adjusted again and again and I can't get that same powder and bullet combo to impress with the high $$ brass--Over and over that PMC brass out groups everything else I have used--I am now buying it as ammo $9 for 2o local and plinking with it JUST to get the brass--Crazy I know but I wish I could buy PMC brass--I can shoot 1/4-3/8ths groups every time I load my Pet load in it--I can get the other to do OK but not impressive Seems to me the lapua was tight necked--I have went through it all fired once then reloaded again like I do with the other--Thought after the inside of the necks carboned up it would help--it did --still nothing to wow me

Get you some LC brass and prep it fully and it will work just as well as Lapua.

If you have a source for LC, sort it and prep it. Lapua is the best,but sorted LC is really good.
