I have met some really great people over the last few years in benchrest branching out to shoot multiple disciplines and have come to realize that the perception one may have by reading the forums are most of the time so much different when ive met and got to know them in person. What stands out is the enduring passion that you pick up on hear with sometimes what seems somewhat abrasive which becomes totally the opposite when you get to know their careing true heart that will do most anything for you within reason while making camradarea an easy and enjoyable thing like we have all known each other for decades.
I want to thank all that have posted and shared their experiences with gratitude in the participation i have in the sport without knowing or asking. That means a lot to me and makes it even more so worth the effort. I dont advertise but felt the need to say thanks! Now we are waiting for this all to blow over and can hardly wait in our attempt to kick ass and it cant come soon enough. I miss the fellowship and hope to see you soon.

I am sure there are a few people that are anxious to shoot. I have not been pushing to fill the last few spots in the Tack Driver due to the circumstances we have been facing. It looks like things are freeing up as of now and I am starting to get some calls. There are a few spots left and they will be taken on a first come first serve basis. Just so everyone knows Roy Hunter said he had it won already and if you show up you will be second at best! This will be a match to remember and I will have plenty of BBQ sauce for his crow he will have to eat so it will go down easier and wont be so dry! Looking for a few more of the BEST shooters in the NATION to attend.

Well guys I think I picked a perfect time to have my back surgery if I had waited a couple more days probably wouldnt have happened thank god it’s done and on the high road to recovery and yes paganelli my wife has 8 goats 7 of which are expecting little ones Might need a sheep herder before long but you’ll have to learn to drink the ga stump water like I do with all this time off I have about ran out of barrels to chamber and guns are getting new brass and tuned man I wish November would come early this year

YES! Jackie, a most timely post, and you sir, have made quite a few RIGHT decisions along the way in this dang aggravating sport. And that is the first and best(?) part of this equation: which one do I bring???!!: because, this choice is the only choice you get to use. If it ain't for sale, leave it home and come have some fun. Dare I say: "An awful lot of fine shooting rifles in a lot of calibers will be left home in the safe"? Best of luck to you, (and all the other guys) in choosing correctly and shooting well. I have a feeling this match is one to be remembered for quite some time.

Uncle Wayne. You better realize that the best u can do is second place because Roy Hunter is telling everyone that he's got that match in the bag already. I remember my 1st IBS 100-200 Nationals in Weikert PA. in the fall of 2013. I was sitting next to Dean and Roy called him and told him that he was on his way over and said the same exact thing that he's gonna win everything. Well he like some of us got used like a rented Government mule. Good luck Roy because your going to need it.

JimPag, call Jim Cline and see if we can have a "ragging contest" Saturday night after the match.....winner take all. Surely there will be many "original" rags. So put on your thinking cap now to come up with one. Cussing or ugly words or attitudes will get you disqualified. I mean, ain't this what Saturday nights are for?

I have finalized the art for the t-shirts for this event and the excitement continues to build. I am getting numerous calls a week and pictures of groups people are shooting all the time. The question is who will be the best of the best? will it be dominated by a 6PPC or will the old 30BR prevail? Will the Long Range guys shooting 1" groups at 600 get it all dialed in and dominate with the 6BRA or will a big boomer show us how its done? Time will tell and the excitement is building. I am considering printing some hooded sweatshirts for sale($25) in addition to the T-shirt that will be provided. If you want a sweatshirt, please make sure to let me know as the order will be submitted on 11-1 for printing. Thanks and WHO WILL BE THE TACK DRIVER?
