I want to put this out here just to see if others in our nation are seeing the same thing when it comes to buying firearms. As i have mentioned in the past I work part time in a store that sells firearms to get out of the house and to put a dent in my firearms bill where i work. (It's a fun place to be for a few hours each week as well) As such i get to see who gets through the background checks and how long it takes to do so. Most sail right on through but some don't for whatever the reason may be.
I bring this up because there are a few people here who have been waiting for from 30 to 90+ days and still waiting to clear the back ground check. In the state of Oregon it turns out that every five years it throws out your information showing that you can buy a firearm and then makes you go through it all over again. This requires all the states you may have lived in to do your background checks for that state over again, and of course those states have already done it once and unless it's changed since then Oregon already has/had the information but deleted it in their every five year purge.
This of course makes for doing it all over again at a time when every state has a rush to buy firearms due to the up coming election and the Dems running most big city states and the on purpose riots in those cities.
So those people who have cleared their back ground check in the past must wait who knows how long to do it again, this happens to include a person here who two days earlier bought a hunting rifle from us, but now must start all over again because his past back ground was deleted because of the five year state rule. This to me seems to be just another way to slow down or stop a person from owning a firearm in the state of Oregon.
I should also point out that the voting power in this state is on the west side of the state and is all Dem controlled, from the governor on down. Is this happening in your state or are we here just the "lucky" ones?
