This is M-114, and if it becomes law in Oregon after all the smoke settles over it, any state with large population areas will very likely have to deal with it as we here in Oregon are now. There are four law suites trying to block it here at this moment and there may be more in the making.

The Oregon state federal judge who is going to rule over this has an interesting law history. You can bring up who the judge is very easy and that will lead also to that judges law history and who appointed that judge. After reading our judges history I feel better about what the results may be as well as believing it may be as fair as possible considering all the liberal B.S. the judge will have to wade through and rule on here.

If you really want to know what your states chances are if it is brought before your states federal Judge to rule on then look that judge up, I found our judge's history on wikiwand.com, you may have a better site.

there are lawsuits already in the courts for similar laws in other states
they may eventually help you

NSSF CHALLENGES UNCONSTITUTIONAL OREGON MEASURE 114 … NSSF filed a challenge to Oregon’s Measure 114 and as a result of our emergency motion for a preliminary injunction, the state has agreed to delay implementation of Measure 114 on December 8. Regardless of the delayed implementation, our case challenging the constitutionality of Measure 114’s permit-to-purchase scheme and the ban on standard-sized magazines will continue.

I believe California has set at least some of the groundwork for your overturn. There's currently a legal stay on the overturn pending appeal, but the mag ban was ruled unconstitutional. Have to wait and see how it plays out.

I’m unable to get a handle on how an individual state can place an initiative on the ballot to overturn the constitution of the United States by a simple majority of the voters.
There is a process and procedures for amending the Constitution and that ain’t it.

Judge appointments are critical to governing without the legislature( the dems understand this) many Clinton and Obama judges have issued rulings on election lawsuits. Same reason the big anti-American dem campaign donors move money to local judges and attorney general elections.
