Oh he$$ no! Do you know how long it takes for an old forgetful guy to count those cases? First time I got to 255, took a sip of coffee and.......crap! Where was I? I started over 3 times before I gave up! Then I just made piles of 50 and counted the piles....three times!

You don't have to count them. Just make up a number in your head and write it on the wall. Dale doesn't know how many he sent either.

Yep - dont forget the knowledge that’s here and it’s the been there done that kind of knowledge too. Now i have bought my share of stuff from members here - not only is it a fair deal but it’s always top notch stuff. I don’t shop anymore from places until i post here for a reason. I trust the fellas here more than retail sites and will continue - i just mailed cash to a member all the way to other end of US for some stuff without a worry. When my dues come up i will pay with a smile . When i post questions i get the answers i need to hear and maybe even get a little phone support if needed. Doesn’t get any better than that.

Not all have left they are still here reading just not posting, they got tired of the argumentative attitudes of some and the politics in others.( not the majority just a few)
Assuming from a few PM's I have received on questions asked I believe they are lurking in the abyss.
Of coarse some were called back home earlier than expected, and they will always be remembered, so they aren't gone just missed.

Which is it?

When I joined, this site was very technical and specific. A little dry but it was a wealth of knowledge. I was naive and asked all kinds of questions about “other things”. I noticed other new guys joining. I think the influx of new guys “changed” the site and the older guys, original members, as it were, didn’t like the new banter. I can’t blame them. Their island was invaded. I think they’re still here......watching. I feel bad about the change.

As one of the "New" guys , I think part of it is we are trying new techniques , and getting different , but good or better results in some areas , but that's just helping to advance all the disciplines as we go along . But ; I never hesitate to confer with , and take advice of those who have come before , and try to respect their wealth of knowledge gained from years of experience on the line , and the loading room .
This is ; without a doubt , the best forum I've ever been on , and I appreciate those who put in the countless hours , for all of us to have a place to learn , grow , and get better in the shooting sports .
