Part of the Report I just heard said LaPierre set himself up with a 17 Million Dollar Early Retirement Plan without the approval of the NRA Board . That and private Jet Trips , etc . makes one very suspicious .

At the very least I hope they can stop that and claw back some of the extravagant spending. $50+++ million on legal fees? WTF for? All those services and charges need to be audited.

Regardless of whether the suit has merit, all of the NRA's time and resources will now be focused on answering the suit. Not good any way it goes.

Ollie North was removed by someone in the NRA for asking questions of how the money was being spent a few years ago. Seems like part of it was a sweetheart deal with a law firm.

Straight from the horses mouth. The Wayne and company have rode the NRA into the ground. It’s very likely that the NRA will be disbanded. Other organizations have been doing the fighting for years now while Wayne and company have looted the NRA and fleeced gun owners. I quit throwing away money on the NRA going back the the Heller case. I give to GOA now. Hopefully Wayne and company will spend the rest of their lives rotting in prison. Wayne won’t need $150,000 suits where he belongs.

Look at the timing -- just before the election. NY's way of trying to persuade NRA members not to vote for NRA supported candidates -- anything to try to discredit the NRA and therefor the NRA organization, its Members and anything they stand for. Let's look at the record of the accuser (NY) and not jump to any conclusions until proven in a fair trial. P.S. Also to discourage members from contributing to the NRA, thereby keeping the NRA from being as effective in an election year the liberals are desperate to win.

Very good point . I have lived here for 59 years , when I was in school we carried our 22s on the school bus in the morning and left them on there till after school when we would get dropped off at the railroad tracks to go hunting or check our traps and make our way through the swamps to get home,usually well after dark. Pretty sure that policy has changed.

Yeah. Maybe. If he is writing off stuff that shouldn’t be, then the opposite of that is he needs to claim the perks and benefits as income. Tax Fraud. Guys have gone to jail for using company assets to benefit them personally, and not claiming it. Usually turned in by an angry ex wife or a disgruntled employee.
