You're right, confused the two. I'd love to be able to move to Klamath Falls, or even somewhere close by. Can't afford to though, too much California real estate money has influenced the market in OR. I have family roots in Or. Beautiful county!

Think about one thing, if we were an unarmed population,
what could and would be happening all over this country.
These armed thugs would be taking over, and they have been very successful in most towns where the police were ordered to stand down. It takes spineless leadership to give that order.

They will not. They will go dormant for a time. Their goal of a totalitarian society is achievable with liberal political help and they know that. They are extremely well funded, well organized and smart. This was a test run and the victory they achieved in major cities was astounding. Mayors in every major city rolled over like a beat dog. Sad.

Is not the Constitution the LAW of the land ? Is the 2nd amendment not part of the Constitution ? Is that not the right to carry a firearm ? The politicians have attacked the 2nd amendment for years with criminal background checks and what ever they can dream up in their state legislatures. To change the Constitution does it not take a vote of the people ? A Constitutional convention ? The Constitution and its Bill of Rights was created to protect the citizenry from the various levels of government. Correct me if i'm wrong. They sidetracked we the people along the way.
the govt arrested a 70 year old guy that opened his barber shop hit him with 1000's in fine took away his license. but cops will do nothing if a rioter burns down the barber shop. it is time at least for smaller towns to eliminate police and have the people take care of maintaining order
This is what citizen's in there towns are going to have to start doing, as those in Klamath Fall, OR did. Stand together to protect their town and properties, from the criminals and terrorists like Antifa.
Law enforcement can not do it on their own, and frankly, I don't have the confidence in LE as I did in years past, to do their duty and put a stop to the violence, caused by Antifa and others.
If more citizens and even LE would take more drastic steps, even to the point of shooting these felons, in their criminal acts, they just might take a step back and stop their crimes. If they don't then quick justice should be dealt out, even if it means ending their life, right then and there.

I hate when citizens show up to protest openly carrying arms. I think it sends a bad message and makes law abiding, armed citizens look bad.
But, I am glad that people are arming themselves. Gun sales are at a all time high. It is obvious that too many local and state government officials are socialists and are in support of these terrorists.
That being said, thank you to our founding fathers for ensuring we have the means to defend ourselves by way of the 2A. Precisely what it was created for. Who, would have ever thought that this great nation would come to this.

If you've lost faith in local LE, it is because the locals have allowed weak left leaning Mayors and/or Sheriff's to be elected.

An armed society is a polite society.
What J D experienced is truly an example of what America and our freedom stands for and holds to fact a truth that our country will still survive as long as we protect it . It is evident in our world today that if we (America) were un-armed and without good strong backbone to protect ourselves and loved ones our lives would probably be in shambles. God forbid we EVER drop our guard in this respect.

I strongly disagree that destruction of property is cause for ending human life. Way too many historical examples of how that reality plays out for the citizenry. I know of another government that enacted a similar policy that resulted in a quite famous incident in Tiananmen Square. Do we want our government to behave similarly to communist dictatorships?
My local sheriff and PD Chief are not like many in the larger cities. They do work for and do a great job in protecting the jurisdictions and people.
I am talking about the majority of the one's in the larger cities that don't do what they should, or use their power/authority to go beyond what is proper LE policies and conduct. There are many of that type, just watch the news reports.
So far the rural areas of my state are not falling for the socialist ideals and direction.
I might add, that the report in Klamath Falls, said that local LE was standing with the armed citizen's. That is the difference in these type of areas, you don't see that in the large cities.

I knew it was going to be an unpopular opinion around these parts, but I stand by it. We all live by the order of the law and rioters and looters should be arrested and sentenced in court. That's different than someone exacting retribution in the form of murder for the destruction of their property.
