SMALL TOWN BANKS

I am not sure if the same is happening in the US but here in Australia regional and city bank branches are disappearing. They are also pulling out atm's everywhere.
Must be part of the WEF/NWO agenda to go cashless. A lot of people are pulling their savings out in cash due to bail-in laws here in the event of a financial collapse.

It is a common practice for local banks to outsource mortgages. This way they get their money right away. They are really acting as mortgage brokers. They process the loan, pay the seller and then sell it to a conglomerate and receive a fee from thm and also a fee from you at the time of process.

If anyone wants to know what the USA future is , Australia may be the crystal ball.

That is commonplace now.
When I bought my last house, I went with the local bank, because I felt that doing business with the local bank was the all American thing to do and if I wanted anything, I could just pop in and take care of it. Well about 6 weeks after I closed on my house I get a letter from some mortgage outfit I never heard of, seems that my hometown local good guys bank had sold my mortgage to some big out of state mortgage conglomerate. So much for using the home town boys. No loyalty on their home town part, none on my part.
That happened to me as well, "THEY" are buying up America. Notice all the ads lately, At least 4 so concerned sleaze bags here in Sac CA " WE buy houses in any condition WE are here to help you through difficult times" One economic crisis here and another there, You think we have a homeless problem now... Just wait ......"THEM" have been slowly methodically acquiring land, homes, businesses, banks and politicians who are THEM's puppets. Or should we just refer to the Them as Dem easier to spell for the texters

end of rant

The local bank outsources the servicing of the mortgage. The loan itself (asset to the bank) has likely been bundled with other mortgages and sold to Ginnie Mae, Fannie Mae or lately the Federal Reserve under quantitative easing.

A big problem for me is they want all kind of corporate paper work and an incredible amount of other paperwork to open an account. I have 6 accounts and I just don't understand. My old bank only wanted name, address, and phone numbers. They gave me a few checks and deposit slips until my new ones came in.
Its called "Know Your Customer" or KYC. They must comply with Federal anti-money laundering laws. PITA

Our local bank was bought last year. They still have the bank's new name on a temporary banner. We got our first "new" bank statement from them last week. They announced last month they have been acquired by another bank corporation located in Toronto, Canada. We had known the local branch manager for 40 years and our sons played baseball together. She has since retired.

Our local private phone company was bought. My wife sent them a check for our phone service last month. We got a letter from them Saturday that our payment was late. She went to their local office and wanted to know what had happened. She found out the new company has all of the checks sent to the home office in Houston and then sends them back to Louisiana. The CS rep said they had several boxes of checks in the back that had just arrived. My wife said there was a long line of irate customers demanding to know what was going on. Because we are in a rural area the phone company is in a protected zone. We have no ability to change carriers for our phone or internet service.

We have two banks in our small town I used them in the past when I bought this land ,but after building a house recently they were not competitive at all with mortgages and ended up with one of the big guys .my mortgage has been sold twice already in one year

Me either

Next coffin nail for locally owned banks will be US government ending local savings accounts, Biden banking czar wants all savings accounts through the Fed(which isn't actually owned by us, but is controlled by several large banks). And has been handing trillions of US dollars out to banks around the world, since 2009.
