The End is near...

the proof is in the May issue of the Blue Press.

The newest heavy duty Dillon auto-indexing press, the RL1100; only comes with a two year warranty. This is the first one with a not "forever" warranty. Two-thousand dollars, plus shipping, is a lot to pay for a press with (only) a two-year warranty. There is good news, however, the Super 1050 is every bit as desirable; and still has the famous "forever" guarantee that Dillon made their reputation on all these years.

The rest of the good news is that Cathy Rankin is making a return to the cover. She was on the cover in 2005, next to a red 2005 Ford GT. This one is a 2017, a banana yellow version. The years have been G-O-O-D to her, unlike the rest of us...

I noticed that as well, i.e.warranty. I also noticed that the bloom had yet to fade on Ms. Rankin. 15 yrs and still holding on. The next 15 will tell the tale of the genes.
I'm at the age that a hot lap with the car would last a lot longer than one w the lass. :-/

Sorry guys but the 1050's DO NOT have a forever warranty. I've had a few of these and they have been very helpful and have given parts to me but the warranty on the 1050's are only one year. Here is that info strait from Dillons website. As for MS Cathy she was hot then and even hotter now.

It’s Your Choice
You can struggle along with someone else’s machine, or make your life easier with a progressive Super 1050. If you’re thinking about a competitor’s reloader, before you put your money down, consider this: Dillon will let you try the Super 1050 for 30 days. If it doesn’t live up to our claims, or your expectations, return it. We’ll refund your money. The warranty on the Super 1050 is one year from date of purchase.

Hey Jesse, why would a guy actually read the info provided to know the real deal? You just don't fit in today's society. Did anyone ever tell you that. Stay safe buddy.

Thanks Bc'z I hadn't seen her in a while. I used to get the blue press as I have 2 of their square deal B's One is set up for 45 and one is set up for 38/357.

I dunno about that on the 1050.
Page 12 says the RL1100 comes with a two year warranty.
Page 16 does not say anything about the Super 1050 having any time limitations as far as warranty.

But what you are neglecting to say is every other reloader listed says "LIFETIME NO BS WARRANTY". The only one that doesn't say anything is the Super 1050. What I posted earlier came strait from their website.

Now scroll down till you find Specs and Configuration. Click on that then you will find where I copied the previous and here it is again.

This is as close as I can get anyone to the correct info.. A 1050 does not come with a No BS warranty. I found this out also when I repaired 2 of them. They gave me some parts and I paid for other parts. They said they are considered a commercial machine and that why they have the 1 year warranty. Thats all I can say.
