Our one mile range has been a work in progress for two years but is finally done. We have about eight bermed target arrays in about 200 yd. increments with loads of steel on each. In March this year we finally hung our One Mile target, a 40 x 48 inch sheet of 3/8 AR donated from an indoor shooting range. A couple of green flashers are attached.
Yesterday it turned too windy for shooting so I hit the red safety flasher, put up the red flag and drove the mile down for a look.
Our soft prairie sand easily blows away and revealed a metal mine of missed bullets. Literally feet and yards off the mark in every direction. I could have filled a gallon pail with bullets.
