I (finally) bought a real rifle rest earlier this year, a Cowan, because it fit my budget and supports his school and the trades in America. But, the rest, bag and shipping tapped out my budget, so a speed screw and F/class feet would have to wait.
I decided to make my own low budget (free!) feet using the pointed screws/feet that come standard. I took some 1/2" thick delrin sheet scraps, cut to 3" diameter circles, threaded a through hole in the center and violla! I just got some Sinclair extended screws in, but need to grind them to a point so if I ever shoot on deep gravel or soft ground I can use the long screws.
I don't have the screws extended very far through the feet in the pic, but they can extend over an inch past the bottom. When shooting on the bench, I just spin the feet off if I want.
