If I didn't have Sat. service I would have no internet, I have no cell service, and have to have another Sat service for other than basic TV service.
A price you pay to live in the country.

Doesn't it seem to run through data VERY fast.? The people I have known said theirs was out in a flash then throttled back.... I also live in the country and am just lucky that I can get internet , it's no where the speed of big cities but at least fast enough to watch movies.... We have Sat. service for TV it's either that or rabbit ears out here.... I am glad it's working out for you Butch I have to have internet for business stuff but can't imagine not having it anymore... As far as cell phone of course mine works but I miss the days of not having it sometimes....

At our little hometown festival a guy printed 250 T-shirts that said “keep your weird a$$ in Austin”. Had a line with hundreds in it and sold out in an hour!

Lol I have to agree.... Now that gas is cheaper than 10 years ago a bunch of them have moved out here to get away but they of course bring their Austin ways and sh#t driving skills out to the country...

Since we changed to Hughes they have not throttled us down. So far even trying a booster hasn't helped our cell service. We have to drive 900ft. to the front of our place to get cell service.

Lol I hate that , mine does it to... We live in what's called flash floods alley , the weather here in central Texas is whacky I am from S Texas were it's not so bad... When I really need to see the news because of the weather it goes out... I put rabbit ears on a TV in my reloading room , well to have a tv because it wasn't setup for satellite service when it was installed , it saves me when the weather gets rough...
