Teslong bore scope

For what I do this is great, wish I would have known before I bought the Hawkeye. Old hawk may be going down the road now

And a converter maybe? The cable end won’t fit in an iPhone or iPad will it?
Mine plugs right in to my Mac lap top.Buddy said his will plug into his I-phone but has to remove otter box. Ordered adapter for my android yesterday from amazon

Mine arrived yesterday (yahoo, another tool!).

Pretty much plug and play on my Windows 10 laptops, but have yet to get it to work on my preferred device - a 7th generation Kindle Fire 10. I've tried just about every app available, I think....

First thing I did was check the barrel on my FTR rifle. I used to worry I was over-cleaning it.

Got mine in today. I like it. Nearly as good as my Hawkeye was. Being able to take and share photos is cool. Using a Dell desk top with Windows 7.

Took a look at a carbon steel Remington 8" twist .260 bore with exactly 2720 shots fired. Major erosion, leade totally gone, serious carbon ring , enough copper to mine out. Off the bench yesterday it shot 144 Sierras under three inches at 500 meters. Go figure. Probably has less than 300 shots left in it.:D It has had a steady diet of Varget, I and H4350 and I4064 propellants. 107, 120 and 144 Sierras only.

The trick as with any new information is to figure out what it means and what to do with it. If the rifle is shooting well then regardless of what you see, it's good. At that point you are looking for change. If it isn't shooting well, then you are looking for what may be causing it and the solution. The solution may be a major cleanup or a replacement.
If you chamber your own then of course it provides I with a visual of the job quality.
I thought my barrel was gone. But with my last bore scope was able to identify the solution was a major cleanup. Won my next match.

How does everyone keep the mirror spotless?
Mine always has white spots all over.....................

I used the alcohol wipe, but doesn't help much................

I use lens wipes that I use for my photo camera's lens and then give it a shot of air from some canned air. The canned air does a nice job, for the most part.

Just wanted to give a shout out for Teslong customer service. They were very quick to answer me when I informed them that the unit I received didn't work and sent another one right away. That one works perfectly.

Has anyone found a way to use this tool for 20 caliber rifles? I own 7 20's but the mirror end is too large in diameter to go into the bore. It works find on my 22 calibers with either my Windows 10 desktop or S9+.

I'm not going to need to do this because my smallest stuff is .22 but before they were making these scopes so thin I was thinking that you could mount an angled mirror on a cleaning rod, insert it from one end and insert the camera from the other.

It would be tricky to focus but it would fit.

The one I have starts into a 20 caliber bore and stops right where the cutout for the mirror begins. It appears thst when making the cutout for the mirror it gets deformed. I contacted them about it and they are sending me a new mirror. Hopefully the new one will be round and slide into the 20 caliber bore.

It works with the mirror off. Obviously that give you a fish eye view but it's better than nothing.

I also contacted Teslong and in hopes of getting a smaller mirror end. The one I have is oval rather than round measuring 0.192" at the smallest diameter and 0.202" at the maximum diameter. It would need to be less than 0.194", preferable a bit less, in maximum diameter to work in a 204 Ruger. Randy

I received a replacement 3 pack of mirrors after I contacted Teslong about the original mirror not fitting into my 20 caliber barrel. The original mirror started in fine but was tight where the cut out for the mirror begins. I believe during that process in making them the tube gets deformed and they aren't round anymore.

Out of the 3 replacements I received 1 of them is good enough to slide into my 20 caliber barrel. The other 2 won't and it looks and feels like the mirror actually sticks up beyond the diameter of the tube. I'm not sure how the mirror is connected to the tube, glued maybe, but I was thinking about making a tool to compress the mirror tube round. As of now I have 1 mirror that will work in at least 1 of my 20's. I haven't tried in in all of them though.

I will say that Telong's customer service has been excellent. They contacted me promptly and also sent me an email after the replacements were delivered wanting to know if everything was good.
