Looking for an ultra lite stock

Building a new hunting rifle and trying to go as lite as possible. Anyone building a Carbon or Kevlor ultra lite stock?

I highly rate these stocks. They are very strong and rigid. You will struggle to ever squash the stock to contact the barrel.
You don't need to pillar the stock as it comes fitted with carbon tubed pillars - more than enough.
They are not a big name yet, but they will answer any questions you have.

Thinking about doing a T1 x light weight build for 22 rim fire sporter class. While pricey this chassis would fit the bill.

As I understand it the T3 X and the T1x have the same footprint

They are pricey, but they plain work!
You will never have a problem with their work, even with their light weight.
Just give them a skin bed to refine the stock to the action on heavier calibre, but don't bother ever trying to give them a full bedding job - it's really not necessary!

Btw I have nothing to do with the company apart from they own my hard earned cash from purchases....

I just finished my latest hunting build and I went with an H-S Thumbhole and at 39 ozs. it feels like a feather after using nothing but laminates before!

I've got a Mcmillan Edge fill, weights about 25 ounces with the 700 inlet. It's a good stock but I think a man could get by just fine with a standard 30-34 ounce stock from B&C too.

My 06' is setting in a edge fill.
Scoped 4×16 vortex, 26" #4 contour Krieger =
8.1 pounds.
Waiting on brake and ceracoat for final weight.

I am waiting on a Manners Ultra Classic; quoted weight is 17.5 to 18.5 ounces. I expect it will be in the low twenties with a mini chassis and bottom metal.

It's been 7 months or so and am chomping at the bit...

My TL Tech Action has a 22" #2 in Edge Fill, classic. 3-15x42 Tract (20 Ounces). Weighs 7lbs 9oz with four cartridges in it. BUT, it is full length bedded.

The Sako Carbon Wolf series are interesting and sharp as hell. Under 7-1/2 pounds.

If that's too heavy, the Carbonlight series are a full pound lighter.

(I do realize this takes the fun out of a 'build' but Sakos don't need much help)
