Question-why would you leave epander in the die with .289 bushing,wouldn't the epander be smaller in diameter than the bushing I.D? Just asking for my own info ,Awesome group6.5 X 47 Lapua :

.015-.025" +/- off lands (?) Kinda a shotgun approach to load testing.
pick a powder, load bit under max, a bit off lands and go to it.

1/8 twist MTU Krieger 24" bbl.
brass had that donut deal.

just wondering as I'm going through the same thing right now,I'm using a .287 as my buddy borrowed my bushings. With mine being turned I'm getting about .004 tension. I will go get my bushings today and put in the .289 or .290I could feel the expander pulling a TINY bit on the brass neck on the upstroke, so it was touching.
The .289 bushing is too small, but it was all I had on hand.
Going to order a .290" & .291" today.
Chamber neck is .295" ( engraved on bbl by Bob Green).
