Barreled action is factory dropped into a chassis, so pretty close to stock. Oh yea, he added a scope to it as well, so not truly stock out of the box. Randy has worked hard at this and this is a well deserved record for him. Congratulations!!

Do they come with that brake on there or is that an aftermarket one?

They come with brake installed from the factory. Been looking at one at a local shop.

I can’t deny that custom rifles are cool, but this guy with a $1,000 base rifle, Vortex scope, and a couple of add ons with a total value of less than $5,000 just kicked some butt at a 2 day match with 50+ competitors. I wouldn’t be surprised if he had the least expensive rig there. Looking at the results he was 3rd in the light gun class and 7th overall with the heavy guns figured in. That’s one heck of a weekend!

Congratulations to Randy Wise for set new world record at Camp Atterbury. Randy made a cold bore hit and two follow up shots at 2158yards, with his stock savage action and barrel in an Accurate Rifles Systems chassis. This was done with a 338 Lapua mag. and 300gr. Berger hybirds. Congrats RandyView attachment 1122442 sorry forgot to say this was at 2019 NRA NATIONALS ELR EVENT

Thanks. Interesting that’s about what I’ve seen at 600 and 1k so I guess it keeps scaling out pretty linearly. Congratulations!

Is that 1/2 moa a zero shift or a different velocity for the first shot?

Did you set up the barrel with a specific amount of fouling or use a clean bore?
