Thanks Alex & Bart. I can certainly agree on bad lots of any powder (and also the fact that some barrels just may not like a certain powder). I ran into this with varget on my first BRX barrel. Never could get 2 different lots of varget to shoot in it. Went to RL15 and it went to shooting. Foolishly I swore off varget for a few years (until I became tired of chasing temps with RL15). The first BRA that I chambered, he chased H4895 for awhile and it kinda left a bad taste in his mouth (and mine also, to some extent). All the others that I have chambered have done well to my knowledge. Since then, I have had four of my personal barrels set up to chamber in BRA, but always backed out and went the BR, BRX & Dasher route. With the ratio of “good vs bad” lots of H4895 that you have had close hand experience with, it gives me a better feeling on going forward. Thanks guys!
