20 tac Bullet ?

I just purchased a 20 tactical from another member here on 6br. I have several bullets to choose from. I was wondering what you guys think on which may be the best all around for shooting a ground hog. Accuracy and kill factor. Gun has a 11 twist barrel.

1. 40 gr V-Max
2. 40 gr Remington accu tip-v
3.39 gr Sierra blitzking
4. 40 gr Nosler B/T
5. Berger 35 gr Varmint / match hp
6. 34 gr Nightmare extreme

my tact 20 is over 8 years old and is still shooting good. have killed rock chucks out to 450yds. the only bullet that bbl has shot is a 32gr vmax with h-335 and is also a coyote killing machine. got 32 yotes last year and 18 so far this year.

39 Sierra Blitzking is my favorite bullet out of the 20 TAC for Groundhogs! Ive also had good luck with 40 Vmax and 32 Sierra blitzkings

Of the ones you have I bet you will like the 39 BK the best however the 40V-Max may best it though,worth trying both.
The 40 Berger or 40 BIB will make you smile if you try ‘em.

for me it's the 40 vmax's, but I'm a high volume shooter and concerned about cost. for lower volume, then it's the 39BK. it seems to shoot well in a lot of guns when other bullets won't. easier to tune, so to speak.

The B.King are good,the 40's if your rifle shoots them,I,ve tried most,got better accuracy w/ 40 V-max,over 40 Begers or 40 Noslers out of 4 different barrels, plus the 40 V-Max is $10 a box cheaper

They all should shoot well for you, so I'd just pick one and start working up a load. If you already have one/some from that list, I'd start with one of the bullets you already have and get to shootin.

My 2 Savages, both ,1 in 12" twist,a 12FV and a 10 Predator shot them in the high .1's and low .2's MOA,about half do,half don't.Most will shoot 39 B.King

I'm running 40gr vmax's In My 20 practical from a 1-11twist CBI. They are being pushed at 3800fps. I like them so some I've stock piled 1500 for future use. Hope that helps

39 gr. Sierra Blitz king. Killer to 500M in my old 1/11 twist Pac Nor barrel, using Benchmark powder. mike in ct

Have tried just about every 20 gr in three 20Ps and settled on these three. The BIBs shot best in all rifles.
#1. 40 BIBs (nothing more consistent)
#2. 39 SBKs
#3. 40 Bergers.

This was added info that some might not be familiar with everyone.H 4198 andIMR 4198 works well in my 11 twist PAC NOR.
