3/8ths inch (3/4 MOA) at 50 yards is not too shabby. There are many match rifle that cannot beat that. Perhaps, you meant 3/4 inch groups at 50 ??I had a 452 American that was one of my favorite rimfires I have owned, that's in the company of the finest custom rifles ever built. That one 452 American was a very solid 3/4 MOA rifle at 50 yards and 1 MOA maybe just over at 100, that's by no means super accurate. But it just felt so nice in hand...

No, that rifle would shoot in the mid to high 0.3XX” consistently at 50 with often dipping in to the 0.2XX” range. At 100 it was more close to MOA on a consistent basis. Which is pretty good for a sporter rifle, however for a precision or match rifle a big group is in the two’s...
Impressive! I'd love to have a 22 that consistently shot in the threes or less. Can't talk myself into a br rig yet. I have a cpl that can shoot in the twos and threes and once in awhile ones but not consistently. Mine get to vertical stringing. Then again I draw the line at $10/box of ammo. I keep telling myself it's gotta be the ammo, can't be me. ha ha.
You can certainly do it with $10.00 a box ammo, well almost. Center X is around $11.00 a box. But as long as your rifle likes it (and most do) the ammo is completely capable. Nor do you need a Benchrest rifle with a tuner and a big expensive rest. I have shot and seen better shot but these are just an example of what Center X can do, all groups are 5 rounds shot prone off a Harris bipod and small rear bag.

It won't get any better with age!I had a 453 heavy barrel and had it threaded for my suppressor. Never shit the same but really liked that rifle.
