Primer Pocket Reamer Help

I recently had a custom 6.5 PRC built. I reload for most of my rifles and have always used Lapua Brass so I didn't worry much about the primer pockets. Lapua doesnt carry the PRC brass so I ordered some Hornady brass instead. Because I've heard some bad things about the Hornady brass I decided to exhaust all efforts to make this brass is as consistent as possible. I bought a Lyman pocket reamer (not the uniformer tool) thinking that it would take out and imperfections in the "roundness" of the pocket. After doing a little reading I realized that the pocket reamers were really intended for removing the crimp on military cases. My question is since I've already done roughly 30 cases can I use them or have I ruined them? I dont know if I've created an issue in which the primers will become loose or not. Just looking for some feedback. Thanks...

The reamer isn't a precision tool and it does not make the pocket uniform in any way, in fact, if you aren't careful you can make the top of the pocket elliptical to some degree and cause a variation in primer to pocket frictional forces. Not much but maybe enough to effect precision work. The better uniformers are adjustable for depth and they cut the bottom corner of the pocket to a sharp/square form rather than having a slight radius. Personally I'd just use those cases for testing or as spotters and buy a good uniformer tool and only compete with cases that have been uniformed.

I appreciate the responses. I'm gonna put these to the side and order some new brass. If I'm gonna spend the time and money trying to make everything as precise as possible I'd
rather not have something questionable from the start.
