80,000,000 gun owners. We should rule. We deserve whatever we fight to keep. Or not.
The NRA rolled over and showed their belly. Just like they have been doing a lot lately.Has the NRA made any movement to contest this? Or, are they looking for political points to 'support' this ban?
Just think if only 75% if the present gun owners ( and all sportsmen and women) came together as one large voting group, what power could be shown to the politicians at the booths. Maybe then we could gain back the ideals of this old republic and really see the full power of the U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights again.
IMO, the bump stock is a stupid toy. We as part of the shooting industry would be better off if we joined in mass to not support the “bump stock”. They have no use in the shooting sports and these stocks stress out the of rest of the 90% (?) of America. The sky will not fall.....
Think about it,
Ben
Let's face it. The bump stock was a gimmick invented specifically to get around the machine gun law. And nobody needs one because with a little practice, my friends and I were able to shoot just as fast (and fairly accurately) just by "floating the trigger finger" and using a slightly loose grip and stiff arm the support hand.

Beyond easy:They saw how easy it was to ban the bump stocks. What's for the next anti gun president? "Those sniper scopes and high capacity magazines must be destroyed. Who but the military needs more than a 3x9 scope or ten round magazines?"
It was too easy. How sad.
I would appreciate your source for that number. That is about 1/2 the TOTAL population and you must realize humans under the age of 18-21 make up a significant part of the total population.Actually, the estimated number of US gun owners are close to 160,000,000, with a significant minority being Dems.
That said... we could still do it. It would have to be very public and we would have to be very clear as to "why"... but we could force a change in government and media on the way the gun culture is viewed, in an afternoon.
I nominate you!!! Good luck doing it for “free.”Good idea, somebody needs to start the "American Firearms Association - AFA". Free membership with registration, coordinates everybody on voting for our rights.
The discussion is more about the tyrannical banning of a firearm/ accessory taking place on a firearm forum. If bumpstocks can be called machine gun, then certainly any precision long gun can be called a ‘sniper rifle.I would appreciate your source for that number. I just find it comical we are discussing this idiotic firearm accessory on a forum with the name “Accurate Shooter!”
I haven’t heard one intelligent argument for bump stocks yet, and you don’t seem up to the task. The discussion is more about the tyrannical banning of a firearm/ accessory taking place on a firearm forum. An appeaser is one who feeds the crocodiles, hoping it will eat him last.
