Bump Stocks

So, claim how many you lost and pay for searching and clean up of the waterways?

"I was out fishing and found this bag of money, a kilo of grass, and 3 bump stocks"

No wonder I haven't heard of any bump "stock surrender programs".

Oh well; as far as I know there isn't more than a few dozen bump stocks in the country. I have seen a lot of adjustable stocks that don't lock in position very well. jd
 
I wonder if the ATF is seizing all the sales records and planning to pull search warrants on the million or so homes out there that bought one?:eek::confused:
 
IMO, the bump stock is a stupid toy. We as part of the shooting industry would it be better off if we joined in mass to not support the “bump stock”. They have no use in the shooting sports and these stocks stress out the of rest of the 90% (?) of America. The sky will not fall.....

Its not about the bump stocks. Its about the legislature and the bureaucracy infringing on our rights. You should support and defend ALL aspects of the Second Amendment and our Rights, regardless of what you personally enjoy. We should not give a single inch because they have been chiseling away at our rights, day by day, since 1934.

To make things worse, the BATFE is not a legislative body, yet they have taken it upon themselves (regardless of who directed them) to redefine what a machine gun is. The legislature has established what the definition of a machine gun is and there is not one single bureaucracy that has the legal, constitutional Right to change that definition. Be it at the will of a single man or a national majority... their action is illegal.

Perhaps the next thing to be labelled a "stupid toy" will be F-class or Benchrest rifles. Ever been to a Machine gun shoot? They are a blast(no pun intended) but way out of my price range. Too bad all the bump stocks have been lost, that I could afford.
 
Don't worry about the ATF if your stocks sank your all right. Now you have to worry about the EPA, dumping plastic into the oceans, thats even worse.

It is this kind of thinking that has put us in the position we are in.
When we the gun owning community divide ourselves with these kind of feeling and thoughts we allow the anti gunners to exploite our our division and legislate away constitutional rights.
The bump stock was just a sacrificial lamb to take more of our rights away. i did not own one but i had no problem with someone " Blowing a batch of cash " with feeding one.
the argument of it has no sporting purpose is utterly absurd. The Second Ammendment had absolutley squat to do with the right to target shoot or hunt! It was to give the people the means to reset our government if the need ever arose. Open your mind to the real threat.
