WOW 600 yard group !!!

Saturday I went to our clubs first ever 600 yard IBS benchrest match near Grand Junction CO.
On the next to the last target of the day I shot a 5 shot group that measures right about .625 (see attached picture) This is by far the best group I have ever shot. Unfortunately I am not an IBS member yet so I'm not eligible for a screamer patch. My 8 target AGG for the day was 2.418, not bad for a rookie I thought.

Congratulations
I seen that group as well as the total agg, a great performance in my opinion.
I asked a question earlier regarding conditions at the match, from the picture of the flags it seemed brisk from 10:00. Could you expand on how those conditions changed throughout the match.
Trying to learn wind reading so any tips help me out.
Thx
Jim

Im no pro on wind reading but the conditions at the match were constantly changing. We shot through a brief windy snow storm at one point, then we had a few breezy relays and a few calm relays. It was fairly calm when I shot this group.

Very nice group indeed congratulations , you threaded them in there nicely.. Gotta love the BRA..

And they wouldn't give you a Screamer patch because your not an IBS member? Another way the IBS is going wrong. It's a patch for GOD Sake. No matter what club it is I hate it! When we don't help keep new shooters coming back and my club is no exception. And this year I think clubs should go out of there way to make sure new shooters are encouraged and helped.
Patches and pins means a lot to a new shooter and if I have to this year I'll donate some of my stuff.

You know Joe, it does not seem to matter what shooting discipline you're in, weird "do nothing but cause problem" rules always seem to slip in. You have to have RULES in order to have a level playing field. However, some rules are made because someone "complained / contested" or someone has a burr under their saddle or whatever>>>these rules do NOT need to be there and should never be enforced...

Joe,
I seriously doubt anyone asked.
Tim in a man of integerty, he isn’t an IBS member and left it at that.

Great shooting ! That'll cost you $$$$ !
I did like that with a borrowed rifle, bullets and a ride to the match. Cost me 10k by the time it was over !
I wasn't an IBS member either. Got unnoticed ...that's the deal, can't get the cookie if your not in the group, this ain't preschool. No "participation" trophies.
Join up and chase that score !
