Capt.Dan's un-scientific review on Hobo Oil part 2

pirate ammo

Guaranteed to take the wind out of their sails
Yesterday,27 Feb 2019, take out my FnFal 308 Creedmoor Pig Killer and completely pull out the trigger system and separated the 2 piece bolt.Cleaned off all oil residue with brake cleaner and
reassembled lubricating with Rem oil. With the action broke open the bolt will slide out by itself.
Went back to the original military top cover for ease of taking it apart again. Loaded up 6 mags
with 10 rounds each of PMC 7.62X51 147 Gr. FMJ. Colluded with a friend to shoot in his back yard,
more room and less neighbors, and no he's not Russian,He's Apache Indian. Load up lets go.
Got a real good signal system, countdown 3,2,1,go,,he's got the stopwatch.Fire, pick up brass, let
things cool do again,3 mags.In seconds #1 at 1.4 2 and 3 at 1.3. Bolt still slides out by itself when
open, tear apart and clean everything off as before and apply Hobo Oil to all of it. Tilted the action back, darn bolt almost got away from us,slide out faster then what we were ready for almost hit the ground. As before 3 mags, same timing system #1 at 1.3 #2 at .9 and #3 at 1,1. Bolt still slides
out fast with action open, and this thing builds up a lot of heat in the rock and roll mode.
So, did we increase rate of fire, don't know for sure. Does the Hobo Oil last, it does that. But we did
discover one thing, we need better equipment to time with. All in all we had a fun time and got to blast a target, and yes, I brought more ammo,My friend got his time behind the trigger, and he had a blast.
One dead spider. Before and after, hard to hold on target sometime.spider 1.jpg spider 2.jpg

When I lived in the Seattle area, “shot” a few spiders. There’s a species up there that go transplanted from Europe that gets to be huge. Their bite is relatively mild but I don’t like them in the house and they do get in. I found a cleaning pellet from a 177 pistol makes short work of ‘em. Or a broom. But the pellet gun can reach further.
