Capt.Dan's un- scientific review on Hobo Oil Part 1

cap'n Dan. now that's a straight up review. Well done!
no terms like "coefficiency of friction" amelioration - to muck up a good review.
case lube - sounds good.

next needed is a slogan for Hobo oil:

1) Tequila tastes alot better than this stuff.
2) You'll love it, slick- it's purple!
3) Get outta that boxcar, and into the first class car. That's the Hobo Oil difference!

I received the Hobo oil a few days ago. So far I've cleaned and re-lubed 2 rifles with Hobo oil. Both rifles had a very noticable improvement in the action. First rifle that I cleaned and lubed was my Model 7. It has just gotten broken in. This oil just slicked it up a whole lot! And smooth too. I dont feel any of the friction when operating the action. The bolt glides with gravity.
Next, my Marlin Guide Gun. This rifle had about 3 different points of friction (resistance) when levering the action. Again, the oil slicked it better than any of the prior lubes that I had used. I think its about twice as fast as before. Although, there's the "bump" where the bolt connects to the hammer when opening the action. Which is normal. A touch of oil there smoothed the bump a bit. Overall, I think this levergun could give Chuck Conners a run for the money if we "lever raced" a few shots..... lol.

changed out the shaft and bearings in a washing machine last Sunday, lubed them all up with Hobo, thought the darn thing was going to take off like a helicopter. Thing is so
quite now, you don't even know it's running.
