Capt.Dan's un- scientific review on Hobo Oil Part 1

I did that for a month one night.
Yeah, I spent a week there one afternoon. Last time I I drank that crap I cut my way out of a 73 Buick trunk or I got threatened buy a jealous boyfriend and told him I was his huckleberry - don't remember which, may have occurred on the same night or 5 years apart:eek: I was an ornery sumbitch.
I ain't like that no more.

Zip lok sandwich bag.
2 dabs Hobo inside rub around some
Fill bag half with brass and squish back and forth to lube brass.
Size brass. Replenish oil 1 or 2 dabs inside bag and add brass as necessary.
Trial was good.
800 rounds LC ready again.
Next time i will dedicate a gallon or at least a quart bag for more room to lube the brass.
Hobo oil worked comfortably. Good lubrication without galling or scraping feedback from old Rock chucker.
Good stuff!

zip loc , didn't think about that one.

The bag wasnt my idea. Caught it in another brass fondling thread here somewhere.
Its all good!
If you would have told me that ahead of time WE could have incorporated it into the review, heck you could have done it and saved my fingers..

No hi-Jack, justa follow on for brass. What did I read here to use to restore a more natural "brass" color to processed brass?

I think some put new Nu-finish in their media,I don't know for sure. In my cob media I'm going to add some Brasso just to see what happens, I sure wouldn't want to do them with
NeverDull take forever. Another experiment in mad science,I might have found a new calling for myself.:eek::eek::eek::eek:

Mr. ARGGHH Ammo. Someone a few weeks back had a solution (pun?) for getting original color back.

If I drink tequila, I would wake up a week from now in a Mexican prison, with stitches, a paternity suit, and 4 murder charges wearing a coyote loin cloth. Me and that stuff stay away from one another. Good review of the lube.

Had a similar experience with bourbon once. Woke up in a hotel in another state with a tatoo and a girlfriend I had no recollection of meeting, let alone . . . well. You know.
If I feel the need for an 'adult beverage' I just stick with beer. Not an experience I care to repeat.

Looks like an Alan Jackson country song. I Don't Even Know Your Name

Yeah, I've done some pretty unwise things as a young man, but that incident tops the list.
