22 PPC suggestions?

I have been shooting a 22 PPC for both groundhogs and informal matches. My groundhog load was a case full of varget. Shoots great but then I recalled that i shouldn't be seating bullets with a compressed charge with my Redding Comp seat die. (Yes, I am confesssing I overlooked something I of all people should knw in the details of working with my first 22PPC) So, shooting 50 grain Vmax and wondering who has experience with the 22PPC and 50's, and what powder they like. Do not include public charge suggestions...PM's accepted.

Using reformed SAko 220 R brass for my groundhog loads...old brass.

Give it a try. Its a good speed but ive never seen it work for anybody. Itll show promise but when it goes out it goes so far you cant recover

Benchmark is a little slow when compared to other powders in that group. In essence, you will be pushing unburned powder out of the barrel. Not much but still...

One of the best powders I've tried for performance and clean burning is AR Comp. I load 52 gr, AMAX and 53 gr. VMAX in my 22PPC with a 23.5" barrel.
