.22 PPC Brass

Howdy, I am a newbie to benchrest shooting. I had my .222 Rem rechambered to 22 PPC. My question is, Can I use Norma 22 PPC brass in addition to 220 Russian? On the 220 Russian I use a expander die, and turn the neck down? My neck is .243.

The best brass to use is 220 Russian. You need to run an expander in the neck that will fit your neck turning mandrel properly. Then turn to proper thickness. A .243 neck will mean you need to turn to a thickness of .009" at least, .0085 wouldn't hurt a bit. At all depends on the pressure ring measurement of the bullet. But .0085" wall thickness should cover any 22 match bullet.
