SH is the best place to go for bad advice (unless you need advice on different shades of Gap camo). I wince every time I see new people asking for help.

I guess Im just not experienced of a shooter as most. There is a place for detailed, informative podcasts. Just like on YouTube. It's great resource for evaluating equipment and products.

I used to post/read/buy & sell on the old SH. years back. learned how to cerakote, built c kote oven, blasting cab, bedding tips. really helpful. like this site. maybe the LR thing has
blossomed (too much?), a lot of great info there then.
one thing i’ve noticed, the $3500 scope seems
like an everyday item?!

That was the conclusion I came to after listening to his podcasts for a week or so. He also gives the impression that if you don't have 15K + worth of gear you wont have any fun. I am sure he is a good shooter, bla, bla , etc, but I unsubscribed and haven't looked back.

That’s kinda funny!! I was lambasted on here a few days ago by a long term member for running an old Japanese Tasco scope on a rimfire...lol.

You partially have me, not NE accent fan, but it's the tone or pitch, it's usually woman in that range that set me off, not men.

For my part I have to admit I have run out of expertise and helpful advice. I now visit to see what folks are doing, hear about problems or ideas and I learn. I have tried to cut back on offering my opinion, other than to offer general info (cause i am not a machinist nor scientist) and I try to keep my posts light. Nothing like self-defecating humor and a good giggle now and then to keep things fun. i appreciate you guys.
