Looking for suggestion on thick wall brass to use for forming 5.6x57 RWS.
Cartridge Conversions for Hand Loaders states to use 270, anneal and run threw sizing die then cut to size.
I have tried 30-06, 280 Rem, 270, 25-06, 8x57, 7x57, 257 Roberts, 6mm Rem.
I only got one case to somewhat hold a bullet, mainly at the joint of the neck and shoulder allowing the bullet to wobble around.
I am using Hornady dies if that makes a difference.
Any and all help would be appreciated.
