Thick Wall brass to form 5.6x57 RWS

No got the reamer and dies dirt cheap, if this was a straight up wild cat would be different, and it’s not really a wild cat, just the brass seems to have stupid dimensions.

I have built an few true wild cats and they weren’t this PITA oriented.

Sure I can shell out 45 bucks for 20 pieces of brass. But when the possibility is there to be able to make it from readily available brass, then that’s what I wants to do. You know more experience under ones belt is worth a lot more then 45 dollars for 20 pieces of brass.

Basically a 22-06. You may well be in for a chore making or finding proper brass.

"It is also unusual in that there are adapters to let 5.6x57 rifles shoot .22 LR and .22 WMR practice ammunition. Apparently this is a popular concept in Europe. For this reason the 5.6x57 case was designed with a thick wall neck, and for use with fairly high pressure (near maximum) loads--a point for the reloader to remember."

Thats what you do when the govt only lets you have so many firearms. Adapt to not having rights.
