New JoyPod Gen 3, any operational suggestions?

I finally got my new JoyPod Gen 3 yesterday. Been on order since May. Really a well built unit and light weight. I won't be able to get out to the range for a week I have been using he Duplin Rorer up to now which I liked.
So since I can't get out for awhile, I was wondering if any of you that use the JoyPod had any advice or notational information that could help on the learning curve?

Check all the screws for tightness before using and every few matches thereafter until nothing is loosening. The rotational unit will also wear in causing it to loosen slightly until wear-in is complete. You want the tension for the rotational unit as tight as you can have it and still move the POA comfortably. This will prevent any vertical due to movement upon ignition.

I don't know how long they've been out. I just got mine on Friday.

My JoyPod gen 2 never had an issue with screws loosening even when traveling. I can say that my results got even better with the Seb 3M Bigfoot rear bag -waterline tightened up. Put scope on 10x, leveled rifle, tapped buttstock in ears. Just had to make sure f class stock was tracking straight back during setup and aligned with my target. Then I moved scope to 36x. Greeted scorer, fellow competitors near me, and paid attention to conditions and targets on my left and right. Enjoying the day no matter my score. I also use the Seb 3m Podpad. I don't know what the difference is between the Gen 2 and Gen 3. Here is a picture, maybe you can tell from the picture.

I would imagine that it would, I placed my order in May and just got it on Friday. The instructions that came with it indicated Gen 3. To me, that doesn't mean anything as I don't know what the difference would be between Gen 2 and Gen 3. I believe the Gen 1 had C shaped skis and the later generations had flat skis.

He sure did and he would have won the 1000yd overall agg also if he wouldn’t have been thinking about giving us Tx boys crackerjacks and dialing his turret the wrong way Dans skis are off the chart tracks like a dream.

If you have a joypod... You'll really like and appreciate the new feet Dan makes for them. It seriously helps me stay on target, with the way it helps the tracking. I ask Dan at the beginning of this year to design and come up with some different type of feet for my joypod. Which in my opinion... The joypod is the best bipod I've tried and use.

I also had trouble with his website, but if you look at the bottom of the contact page you will see his email. I sent him an email and got a quick response. He is in process of making another batch of swivel feet. Cost is $125 shipped.
If you are interested, I would send him an email and get your name on the list. I think he said the next batch would be ready in about a week.
