NRA National Records - Where to find them?

I looked at the NRA website thoroughly, but could not find any listings of existing records. I am interested in F-Class records, but the truth is that I was not able to find any records of any shooting discipline.

Are NRA National records listed anywhere by discipline, date, shooter, and score?

Thx!

Go here and put National Records in search. https://competitions.nra.org/competitor-activity.aspx

Wes,

Thank you!

I was hoping to see Norman Harrold's 200-20X at Raton this year, listed. Maybe it eventually will...

Alex, go to NRAHQ.org, Menu, competitive shooting, competitive shooting programs, menu again, results and records. I was just there the other day, they have not been updated.

Posting new Records runs hot and cold depending on reporting from matches to the NRA and available staff to post “yearly” updates at the NRA.
It gets done, just usually not quickly.

Me thinks you were looking for something in particular Mr Barkley?

Congratulations on your stellar record.

The NRA is not too interested in competition shooters. It took a year to get our team record recorded and posted on the website.

Thanks Wes, I was actually looking to see if my brothers 447-23 in the Palma match at the Berger was a record for Senior. Might be, I need to work on that.

Look forward to seeing you again in a few weeks for the two man team matches. Great shooting by both the Barkley brothers this year as always.

My understanding is that the new policy is to update only once a year. Seems given the lag time this may be the case.

Probably not. There were a couple of 448's shot at the NRA National Matches at Camp Atterbury this year by senior and grand senior competitors so I don't think a 447 will make the record books.

Don't know about that Eric. Shirley McGee, Kent Reeve, and myself all shot 448's at Atterbury this year. I remember Jon Rhynard winning at Perry 3 or 4 years ago with a 450-?. That record must be in bad need of updating.

Blair, you are correct on the sling Palma records. I *think* that the guy he is asking about might be an F-class shooter, though I am not positive on that. The records I mentioned are for F-Class.

I r do remember John R shooting the 450 at Perry in 2015, he is a machine. It was a lower x-count than Bob Gustin's 33x record though, so it wouldn't have taken that one.

Noticed that all the sling records are 450-? so it will be a while before a new one shows up. Especially since this discipline has be going for many years.
